About the Job:

The Program Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the program including management and support staff, building a strong team, and coaching staff. The Program Director will coordinate with partners, implement data collection processes and outcomes, and engagement with program participants to provide quality and comprehensive Mobility Mentoring program and services leading to improved economic mobility and family strengthening outcomes.

Provide comprehensive mentoring to achieve economic mobility, make referrals to specialists located in the Mobility Mentoring Center and make referrals and collaborate with neighborhood partners. Under the direction of the Vice President for Family Stabilization Services, the Program Director supervises all evaluation systems within the program in keeping with agency and funding source guidelines. The Program Director will be a representative of the agency to the funding source and community groups/organizations.

* Provides direct supervisory oversight to the supervisors, who supervises full-time mobility mentors to ensure smooth operation and strong participant outcomes.
* Overseeing programs’ compliance with data entry requirements; monitoring program outcomes; and evolving program implementation strategies to accommodate improve client and program outcomes. Work closely with supervisors in strengthening skills for team members.
* Provide regular reflective supervision for staff members
* Leads Mobility Mentors in responding to inquiries about program, outreach, recruitment, orientation and assessment in accordance with organizational and program guidelines and standards.
* Participates in appropriate community and professional forums as a representative of CCNS’s MM Program.
* Facilitates meetings and trains and supports Mobility Mentors in providing facilitation of group meetings.
* Coordinates with internal and external workshop facilitators.
* Responsible for all services and related activities to ensure and support daily operations
* Sets program goals and monitors progress.
* Reviews and verifies all data and outcomes reporting.
* Works with external researchers and partners if required to provide data and information, contact information, and participates in annual interview with researchers and partners.
* Participate in internal discussions of annual research report and findings. Reviews data regularly and oversees program outcomes.
* Participates in Mobility Mentoring network team meetings: reports on program, discusses implementation issues, proposes program operational modifications, etc.
* Work with external research and innovation team to provide access to clients and information.
* Leads and/or participates in trainings and development of network of Mobility Mentors.
* Responsible to ensure themselves and all mentoring staff participate in at least 42 hours of internal training annually.
* Assures that IOC standards are adhered to including Family Team Conferences (FTC) and Provider Agency Measurement System (PAMS).
* Adheres to CCNS/ACS QA standards with timely submission of Monthly Program Progress Reports, Case Record Reviews (CRR) Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Outcomes, Incident Review Reports, Grievances, and Committee on Accreditation (COA) preparedness.
* Instructs and periodically reviews with staff the Preventive Services Handbook, Tools and Resources for IOC.
* Assures that program is audit ready at all times in compliance with Children's Services Provider Agency ---Measurement System (PAMS) Performance-Based Funding and each FY Methodology referring Casework Contacts with Clients.
* Represents the program in Agency, community and regulatory forums.
* Develop and coordinate a referral network with linkages to parish and other social services providers within the community.
* Oversees the program facility[ies].
* Works cooperatively and responsively with Vice President of Family Stabilization Services in collaboration with other programs within the line of service.
* Responsible for coordination between CCNS Central Services and the program: Human Resources, Legal, Payroll, Fiscal Department and agency lines of services.

What We're Looking for:

* Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field.
* NYS LMSW or LCSW preferred.
* Previous administration experience in monitoring and holding accountable supervisory staff for multiple programs units.
* Organizational awareness of and commitment to creating a coaching culture and supporting coaching practices at various levels of the organizational structure
* Exposure to/understanding of impact of toxic/chronic stress and trauma on executive functioning skills, Motivational Interviewing techniques, and Trauma-informed practice.
* Ability to accommodate the diverse racial, cultural and language needs of families and the professionals who serve them.
* Knowledge of principles, procedures, techniques, trends, and literature of strengths-based and participant driven program models;
* Knowledge of principles of community organizing, service coordination, and advocacy to initiate/coordinate service delivery and follow-up services;
* Working knowledge of scope and activities of public and private health, social service, advocacy, educational, and workforce development agencies in order to enhance stability of participants and their families;
* Basic knowledge of challenges facing low income/affordable housing residents;
* Knowledge of workforce development, economic literacy, education and career exploration;
* Ability and experience in coaching, supporting, and managing staff;
* Ability to work effectively with partners to provide efficient and effective services to residents.
* Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills, and writing skills.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
* Experience supervising staff.
* Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Able to travel to program, meeting, conference and other locations throughout the five boroughs as needed.
* Ability to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends) as needed.
