Requirements:
You are the ideal candidate for Senior Accountant if you:
Have a Bachelor's degree (required) - Major in Accounting Preferred.
Have 3 years general accounting experience preferably in Not-For-Profit sector
Have Analytical ability, including general ledger analysis and financial statements
Have strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to work well under pressure
Are proficient with Microsoft Office products-especially Excel
You have have knowledge of accounting software and systems, Preferably Sage 100
You are able to work independently

Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties for Senior Accountant include but are not limited to:
Prepare CFR/ SSOP/990/A133 Reports accurately and on time
Internal Auditor - Responsible for Personal Allowance Analysis and Consumer Rent Collection-Site Visits at all residences annually
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Review accounts in general ledger to ensure they meet reporting needs
Create Journal entries and Reporting in Sage100 – Accounting System
Support annual audits
Attend meetings as required by funding sources
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
