The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by providing and restoring patient’s health through the nursing process; to the foster care children that are served, overseeing the operations of the medical clinic in accordance with ACS guidelines. The Registered Nurse works collaborating with the Pediatrician and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the health and wellness of the foster children. The Registered Nurse coordinates specialty appointments and follows the guidelines of the Vaccine Program for Children. The Registered Nurses assists the psychiatrist with the children who are treated with psychotropic medication. The Registered Nurse tracks laboratory reports for the Health and Wellness program.
Master’s Degree in Nursing required. A NYS Registered Nurse License is required
Must have at least three years of experience working with children
