We are currently seeking a full time, Assistant Executive Director for our Unaccompanied Children (UC) Program.The AED is responsible for the overall management of the programmatic, administrative, financial and operational systems related to the provision of care and services

Specific Job Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
-Participates in the selection, evaluation and supervision of all UC program staff, interns and volunteers either directly or by delegation.

-Assures the implementation of various program components and ensures that treatment goals are pursued for UC as they relate to the daily living program and treatment plans.

-Oversees scheduling all departmental staffing and ensures adequate coverage in each department.

-In conjunction with the CFO & COO, prepares the annual budget for UC programs

-In consultation, with Human Resources assures delivery of an appropriate and focused training program for all UC employees.

-Daily on-call and weekend responsibility for crisis situations as well as for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) related operations.

-Supervises program Clinician and ensures prompt intake assessments, maintenance of records, medical treatment and Sponsor reunifications.

Qualifications for Program Director
-Master's Degree in social work, education, psychology, sociology or other relevant behavioral science degree along with child welfare administration experience preferred or Bachelor’s Degree 10+ years experience in child welfare administration, child protective services and 5+ years of experience in program management or as director of licensed child care program

-Bilingual Preferred

-Demonstrated excellence in supervision, management skills and leadership qualities

-Knowledge of trauma informed care and cultural competency

-NYS Driver's License in good standing as determined by the Agency
