The Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation (CHLDC) is a not-for-profit community development organization serving 8,000 residents a year through a comprehensive array of housing preservation, economic development, community organizing and youth and family support services programs and projects. With community residents leading the way, the mission of Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation is to build a strong, sustainable Cypress Hills/East New York, where youth and adults achieve educational and economic success, secure healthy and affordable housing and develop leadership skills to transform their lives and community.

Position: Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist (part-time)
CHLDC has an opening for one (1) part-time Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist for the Beacon Family Place, a foster care prevention program located within a school-based community center.

Principal Duties:
● With program leadership, create a schedule of QA/QI activities to ensure compliance and guide program reflection and improvement.
● Conduct compliance and qualitative reviews to assess program performance;
● Review and analyze data to identify target areas for improvement;
● Track and monitor progress with data sets including PROMIS and CONNECTIONS reports and documentation; ACS PAMS raw data and Scorecard, and internal measures;
● Identify trends in staff data entry and assist in the creation and monitoring of plans to improve data quality and timeliness;
● Develop and implement internal quality assurance and control measures;
● Write performance reports;
● Capture, document and analyze participant feedback through administration of closing survey process and other initiatives;
● Participate in meetings focused on QA/QI processes and results;
● Conduct regular case record reviews and audits.

Position Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, in relevant field.
● At least two (2) years of experience in quality assurance, program evaluation in non-profit settings.
● Experience in foster care prevention within the NYC ACS system.
● Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
● Ability to work as part of a team and independently;
● Ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints;
● Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills required;
● Must commit to work from a trauma-informed, strength-based perspective; as well as to leadership development, community building, and community organizing as strategies for social change.

• $50 per hour for 5 hours per week. Flexibility offered to perform role remotely with the exception of a monthly meeting with staff.
