We're looking for an experienced bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources support professional to join our team as our HR Associate. The ideal candidate will have a background in human resources and will be willing to learn new skills!

The HR Associate provides administrative support to the HR Managers by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, benefit paperwork, HRIS database maintenance and data entry. This position maintains professionalism and confidentiality at all times and communicates effectively throughout all levels of the organization.

This position is full-time and includes some remote work. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Phone screens applicants and schedules initial interviews.
Coordinates pre-employment background checks and paperwork.
Schedules and coordinates onboarding activities.
Assists with entering payroll changes, including but not limited to, deductions for monthly benefit enrollments, pay changes, new hires, terminations, suspensions, transfers, promotions, and demotions.
Maintains systems regularly used by Human Resources, including but not limited to, the HRIS system, license monitoring system, group notification system, criminal background monitoring system and employee benefits system.
Maintains personnel files, ensuring all filing is complete and accurate.
Tracks and documents annual employee physicals and ensures compliance with OFCS regulations and requirements.
Distributes, tracks, and collects employee evaluations.
Completes employment verification requests.
Assists with preparation, filing of FMLA, PFL, STD, PLOA and WC paperwork and data entry.
Assists with the separation of employment process paperwork and database maintenance.
Directs employee inquiries to the appropriate personnel for resolution of questions or issues that arise.
Participates in a rotating front desk coverage schedule.

Essential: (Required)

Associate’s Degree
Three or more years of related Human Resource experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Fluency with Microsoft Office and G Suite products
Non-Essential: (Preferred)

Bachelor’s Degree
SHRM or SPHR Certification
