GENERAL SUMMARY
The Sr. Vice President of Behavioral Health Services will provide oversight of all behavioral health/managed care activities and related programming. Under the direction of the CEO/President, the SVP’s responsibilities include: contract review and contract completion, evaluation of managed care readiness for agency programs, exploration of State and Federal managed care funding, participate in managed care meetings; revenue cycle analysis of managed care programs and ongoing evaluation of all managed care programs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review Managed Care contracts and prepare for execution.
• Work with all agency programs for managed care readiness.
• Provide oversight to program outcomes as it relates to managed care readiness.
• Evaluate systems of program compliance as it pertains to managed care readiness.
• Serve as the agency’s managed care expert and point person for State agencies for all managed care initiatives.
• Monitor billing and revenue for managed care programs.
• Attend managed care meetings and training within NYS region.
• Develop new programs in a managed care environment.
• Work with program VP’s in understanding managed care goals and compliance standards.
• Serve as the point person for all program Health Home Involvement.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with program VPs and other levels of the management team.
• Supervision of staff as needed.
• Other related duties assigned by the CEO/President.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Skills, Knowledge, Ability)

Ability to interact with and complete assignments in a manner sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

Extensive working knowledge of managed care and various billing, revenue, and reimbursement structures for manage care programs.

Experience with leading managed-care initiatives a must.

Experience addressing managed care related issues and opportunities.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Ability to interact with community resources.

Ability to understand and use Micro-soft word and Excel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• MBA, Masters in Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience a must.
